Apple of My Eye
Idyllic and charming are all words used to describe this venue on the banks of the Hudson River.
Guests sat in wood folding camp chairs at the river-side ceremony. The chuppah was fabricated from native branches and foliage, and looked as if it had grown right there in the woods. A short walk through the trees led guests to cocktail hour where drinks were served fresh from an apple cart. For dinner, guests fine-dined at long tables under twinkling string lights in an eighteenth (yes eighteenth) century barn. The after party included blazing camp fires with s’mores roasting, and dancing the night away under a starry sky you can only find in the country.
